West Ham fans react on Twitter to Bertrand Traore rumours

West Ham United are linked with the £17m speedster.

Shane Callaghan

The Mirror have reported that West Ham United want to sign Chelsea winger Bertrand Traore.

The 21-year-old could be deemed surplus to requirements in West London as he gears up to return after a solid loan spell at Ajax.

The African winger netted nine goals in 22 Eredivisie starts and also helped the Dutch giants reach the Europa League final, where they lost to Manchester United.

It was a fine loan spell and The Mirror claim that he caught the eye of West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, who is readying a £17 million bid for the youngster.

He also joined Vitesse on loan in 2014 whilst awaiting a work permit, but the report goes to claim that his switch to West Ham would be permanent, if it materialises.

And Hammers fans seem enthused about the prospect of signing the jet-heeled ace.

Seems good, I'd also love for us to go in for Adama Traore. He's another Traore I rate very, very highly.
— Austin Horvath (@IAmTheeAustin) June 9, 2017

We need him
— Iron man (@Ishaak32) June 9, 2017

He is excellent. Would be a smart signing and GREAT for HIS career.
— COYI!!! (@Nathanbi77) June 7, 2017

This would be a great signing if true
— Sam Krueger ⚒ (@SamK_WHU) June 8, 2017

He would be a fine addition to West Ham, but Antonio the Blues should included a buyback clause in his contract if he goes. He is a huge talent and perhaps they would like the chance to sign him back if he takes the Premier League by storm.

Thanks Alan.

I've said it before but this is an invaluable thread that stops me having to wade through a ton of old shit on Newsnow.

Those people have crafted the art of taking ONE tiny Twitter post and stretching it out to a full article. God bless 24 hour news eh?
